Abstract: This course is called Ruh-al-Islam and it will focus on what every servant of Allah needs to know to gain perspective and to strengthen their relationship with their Lord. In this course, we will focus on both the fundamentals of Tawheed and Fiqh. We will be working out of three books:

• Tawhid &Fiqh by B.Aisha Lemu

• Handbook on Islam by Shaykh Uthman Dan Fodiyo

• Usool ‘l Deen by Shaykh Uthman Dan Fodiyo

Objective: This course will span over seventeen weeks. After this course, every student should be more than familiar with:

 

• Creation and Allah’s divinity over us

• The important of performing the necessary acts for the preparation worship, such as: Wu’du, Ghusl, Tayammum

• The Fard (obligatory) and An- Nawafil (superogatory) Prayers: What they are, how to make them, and what actions negate them
